Membership

Since the founding, YMCAs have provided health and fitness programs as an integral part of our mission as we strive to build people in spirit, mind, and body. Today, YMCAs are the nation's largest providers of health and wellness programs. All are welcome at the neighborhood YMCA, regardless of age, physical ability or income.

The YMCA of Greater Des Moines is working to combat rising levels of chronic disease and promote healthy living in our community via the YMCA Healthy Living Center, a comprehensive partnership with Mercy Medical Center aimed at implementing evidence-based programming and community solutions to overcome the nation's growing health challenge.

By joining the YMCA Healthy Living Center you have access to all YMCA facilities in the Des Moines area. You receive reduced fees on most programs and classes and priority registration on programs that fill quickly.

  *Adults are 19-64 Years | *Dependent Children Are Under 23 Years of Age |*Seniors are 65 Years and Up

 *Youth Memberships Age 9 Through High School Senior

 Members of other branches of the YMCA of Greater Des Moines may add the benefits of the YMCA Healthy Living Center to their current membership for an additional fee. See your home branch for details.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The YMCA provides financial assistance for memberships and programs based on need. Thanks to many generous community supporters, the YMCA strives to not turn away anyone due to inability to pay. Please ask about our financial assistance or click here for more information.

Your checking, savings, credit or debit card account can be debited once per month, on the 1st or 15th, depending on your join date.

Annual

Dues may be paid in full upon joining and renewed each year.
